Diagnostics data

By connecting our device to a vehicle’s OBD-II port, you can access a large amount of data generated by the car. The various parameters available are referred to as "parameter identification numbers" or PIDs.

Available PIDs include engine speed (RPM), vehicle speed and ‘Check Engine Light’ Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Many of these data points can be used to calculate more advanced statistics, including vehicle idle time, mileage driven, acceleration / deceleration and fuel consumption.

End of Journey statistics

Our device makes it possible for you to give your customers detailed insight in how they drive, after each trip or on an average weekly or monthly basis.

Location-based data

Ising the built-in GPS module in our device, we can offer a variety of location-based services and vehicle tracking opportunities, from simple asset tracking through to complex routing, geo-fencing and fleet management features. Location-based applications could include local search and turn-by-turn navigation, as well as parking help (‘where did I / can I park?’) and car-sharing access and management.

Accelerometer data

The accelerometer provides data beyond what’s generated as standard. Our devices can help you detect crashes and automatically send out notifications and reports to emergency services. You can also use accelerometer data to develop more advanced driving-behavior applications to support innovative fleet management services and insurance solutions.


Our devices can deliver notifications when a vehicle is speeding, needs maintenance, has a ‘check engine light’ or when it’s at a certain location. We can send out these alerts via e-mail, SMS and social networks such as Chatter.
